COLUMBUS, Ohio — Sixteen members of the Ohio State baseball team are opening their summer ball seasons in collegiate leagues across the country. Travis Lakins and Ronnie Dawson will represent the Scarlet and Gray in the Cape Cod League, while six Buckeyes will play in the Northwoods League and five in the Prospect League. Two will compete in the Great Lakes League, while one member will travel out to the northwest to play in the Alaska Baseball League.
