COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State baseball team will play a doubleheader against Ball State Wednesday instead of its originally scheduled single game. The game has been added because four games have already been lost this season because of inclement weather.
Ohio State and Ball State were scheduled to play a single nine-inning game starting at 6:35 p.m. Wednesday, but will now play two seven-inning games starting at 3 p.m. at Bill Davis Stadium.
The 29th-ranked Buckeyes play host to rival Michigan Friday-Sunday at Bill Davis Stadium. The four-game Big Ten series starts at 6:35 p.m. Friday, followed by a doubleheader beginning at 1:05 p.m. Saturday and wraps up with a single game at 1:05 p.m. Sunday.
Three of the four games vs. Michigan (Games 1, 3 & 4) will be broadcast on radio on AM 920 WMNI. All four games will have audio available on ohiostatebuckeyes.com and be featured on Gametracker at ohiostatebuckeyes.com. Sunday’s game will also be televised on tape delay on the Columbus Sports Network at 7 p.m. Sunday.
Ohio State has won 17 of it last 19 games and is 18-5 overall, 4-2 in the Big Ten. Michigan is 18-6 overall and 4-0 in the Big Ten.
