%^$COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State first baseman Nick Swisher (Jr., Parkersburg, W.Va.) was named to the 2002 Louisville Slugger preseason All-American baseball team. Swisher is a second team selection.%^$
%^$Last year, Swisher helped lead the Buckeyes to the 2001 Big Ten championship and a berth in the NCAA Tournament. He led the Big Ten with 15 home runs, a .492 on base percentage and 60 walks. He carried a .322 batting average with 56 runs batted in. Swisher was a First Team All-Big Ten selection and also was a member of the U.S. National baseball team over the summer.%^$
