Baseball Arrives in Jacksonville, Fla. – Ohio State Buckeyes

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Ohio State baseball team (3-1 overall) arrived in Jacksonville, Fla., at approximately 4 p.m., checked into their hotel and practiced for about an hour at Harmon Stadium on the University of North Florida. OSU begins the largest collegiate baseball tournament in the country tomorrow at 7 p.m. against Xavier. E.J. Laratta is scheduled to start for the Buckeyes.
OSU enters this weekend with a three-game winning streak after taking home the 2000 Service Academies Classic Championship last weekend. OSU also will play two games on Saturday (vs. Western Michigan at 1:30 p.m. and vs. Akron at 5 p.m.) and one on Sunday (vs. St. John’s at 9:30 a.m.).
