
Emily Hummer Set to Join Buckeyes for 2020-21

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Therese Hession, Ohio State director of golf, announced Wednesday the addition of Emily Hummer to the Buckeye women’s golf program.
“We are excited for the addition of Emily Hummer to our 2020 recruiting class,” Hession said. “Emily is a dominating player in the state of Ohio and continues to develop her game for the national level. She and her family bleed scarlet and gray, and we welcome her to the Buckeye family.”

Emily is a two-time first team All-Ohio selection who has two-consecutive Top 5 finishes at the OHSAA State Tournament.

Hummer, a native of Upper Arlington, Ohio, is a two-time first team All-Ohio selection who posted a second-place finish at the OHSAA State Tournament as a senior after placing fifth as a junior. She placed fifth at the 2019 Memorial Junior and helped the Golden Bears to a second-place finish as a senior at the OHSAA State Tournament. Hummer, whose brother Danny is a member of the Buckeye men’s basketball team, also lettered two years in basketball for the Golden Bears.
