
Buckeyes in 2nd Headed to Final Round of Big Ten Championship

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State freshman Matilde Santilli carded a season-low 68 and Ohio State is second after two rounds of the Big Ten Championship at Oakmont County Club in Glendale, Calif.
The Buckeyes at 7-over following a round of 285 on Saturday. They are 11 shots before No. 2 USC with a round to play.
For Santilli, she made five birdies in her round on Saturday, tying her most in any single round this season. That followed a round of 75 on Friday and she is 3-over headed into Sunday.
Nellie Ong and Sophie Eppelstun are both even par through 36 holes and tied for sixth. Ong has carded rounds of 68-72 while Eppelstun has posted rounds of 69-71. Eppelstun has 28 pars through two rounds, which is tied for the most in the field.
Kary Hollenbaugh her opening round of even-par 70 with a 75 on Saturday and is 5-over for the tournament. Mandy Song has posted rounds of 76-74 and is 10-over par.
The Buckeyes will once again be paired with USC and will be joined by Purdue for Sunday’s final round.
