THOUGHTS ON THE MEETS
Director Rosalind Joseph: “As we hit mid-season outdoors, I see our student-athletes getting more consistent about putting together competitive races/marks not only in the conference, but in the nation. I think it’s great to come to a competitive meet like [the Tom Jones Memorial Invitational] and really represent the brand all around. This should give us some confidence going into conference prep.”
Sara Mason Vergote: “We accomplished what we needed to today. I was especially pleased with our mid-distance group. Alex Kenish and Gia Napoleon had solid races and with the help of the rest of the team, set everyone up to do big things next week at home.”
