2015 (Sophomore Season): Tabbed Preseason AVCA All-America and Preseason All-MIVA … returned from injury to make season debut on Feb. 11 versus Penn State … started the next 17 matches to finish out the season … ranked 13th in the MIVA averaging .90 blocks per set … registered 12 or more points in six different matches … produced points at a clip of 2.44/set overall … attacked .364 (113-37-209) while posting 1.79 kills/set … threw up 11 blocks (2s, 9a) in four-set victory over Erskine (3/28), the most by a Buckeye since 2012 … buried eight-plus kills in eight tilts, including an 8-0-10 (.800) effort against Ball State (4/9) … an Academic All-Big Ten, MIVA Academic All-Conference and OSU Scholar-Athlete selection.
2014 (Freshman Season): Placed on the AVCA All-America Second Team, the only freshman to earn All-American honors … recognized by the AVCA as the Newcomer of the Year as well … a First Team All-MIVA selection … MIVA Freshman of the Year … Off the Block/Springback, Inc. Freshman All-American … paced the MIVA and ranked third nationally with a .446 attack percentage, the 14th-best mark in school history … racked up 24 solo blocks to rank second in the MIVA for 2014 and top-10 all-time at Ohio State … his .90 blocks/set (7th), 2.56 kills/set (16th) and 3.10 points/set (16th) all slotted in the MIVA top-20 … totaled 93 blocks, 264 kills, and 28 digs while starting all 27 matches and playing in every set … named the MIVA Defensive Player of the Week (2/11) after stuffing 11 blocks (4s, 7a) in eight sets against Penn State (2/5) and Saint Francis (2/9) … posted double-digit kills in 13 contests, including 10 or more put-aways six times in a seven-match midseason stretch (2/5-3/5) … a MIVA Academic All-Conference, Academic All-Big Ten and Ohio State Scholar-Athlete honoree.
