2015 (Junior Season): Played in 64 percent of the team’s sets (72 of 112), seeing action in 26 matches … totaled 15 digs, six kills, five service aces and a pair of blocks and assists … toed the service line 116 times … terminated six of 11 attack attempts with just two errors, resulting in a .364 hitting efficiency … stuffed the stat sheet with four kills, two blocks (1s, 1a), a dig, ace and assist in five-setter at Penn State (3/21).
2014 (Sophomore Season; at Pacific): Played in all 27 matches and all but one set for the Tigers … ranked second on the squad with 207 kills (2.30/set) and 102 digs (1.13/set) … added 43 blocks (3s, 40a) to total 244 points on the season … racked up nine or more kills in 12 of 27 contests, including a season-high total of 17 versus BYU (Feb. 14) and season-best clip of 5.00/set against Stanford (Feb. 12) in back-to-back matches … fired a pair of service aces three times and at least one ace in 11 matches.
2013 (Freshman Season; at Pacific): Played in 48 sets for the Orange and Black, picking up 37 kills on 91 swings … added four service aces, 19 digs and eight blocks.
Prior to Pacific: Listed as part of the 2012 Mizuno/Volleyball Boys’ Fab 50, which honors the top 50 senior boys’ youth talents in the United States … played in the 2011 USA Volleyball High Performance Championships, and was one of 31 players selected for the USAV program where he competed against players from around the world … led his team to the Florida High School Athletic Association Final Four all four seasons, winning the state championship in 2010 and 2012 … earned All-League honors from 2009-12, the Orlando Player of the Year in 2011 and 2012, Mr. Florida Volleyball Player of the Year from 2010-12, Bishop Moore’s Offensive Player of the Year in 2009 and 2010, and was the team MVP in 2011 and 2012 … overall, his high school team posted a 103-9 record while he recorded 1,446 total kills … four-year Honor Roll and member of the History, Science and English National Honor Societies.
Personal: Son of Jorge and Jeanne Franceschi … older sister, Alexandra, was a standout on the volleyball court as well winning three Florida state championships at Lake Highland Preparatory School … majoring in civil engineering.
