COLUMBUS, Ohio – No. 17 Ohio State (13-10, 8-6) will finish out the regular season on a road trip against No. 11 McKendree (16-9, 8-6) at 8 p.m. Thursday at the Melvin Price Convention Center, and at No. 12 Lindenwood (18-6, 9-5) at 4 p.m. Saturday at Hyland Arena.
- In the current MIVA standings, No. 5 Ohio State will face off against No. 4 McKendree and No. 3 Lindenwood on Thursday and Saturday.
- The Buckeyes are 19-6 against the Bearcats and 22-7 vs the Lions all-time.
- Stanislaw Chacinski led Ohio State in kills in the match last weekend against Northern Kentucky with 13. Shane Wetzel added nine for his career total of 1,261, putting him at 11th in program history. He needs 13 kills to move into the Top 10 spot all-time with Chris Fash (1998-02) with 1,274.
- Eliel Salva-Torres put up seven blocks in the match against the Norse. Setter Daniel Henwood Rodriguez added six.
- Daniel Hurley recorded four service aces against Northern Kentucky. Wetzel added two, and Henwood Rodriguez and Brady Jones each put down one apiece.
- Following a team vote, Wetzel and Drew Hudson were named captains for the 2026 season. Hudson is the first sophomore to earn captain honors in the history of the program.
- Wetzel and Chacinski both were recognized as 2025 AVCA Honorable Mention All-Americans after earning 2025 postseason Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association honors. In addition, the MIVA coaches voted Ohio State in the No. 2 position in the league 2026 preseason poll.
- In his seventh season, Kevin Burch achieved his 100th win as Ohio State's head coach (109-72) with the victory against Lincoln Memorial (3-0). Securing the win against the Railsplitters gave Burch win No. 100 to go with one regular-season MIVA title, a pair of league tournament championships and two NCAA Tournament appearances.
