- Finished in the top-seven in all five shot put competitions
- Was the runner-up in the shot put at both the Music City Challenge (17.90m) and the Michigan Invite (17.39m)
- Was fifth in the shot put (17.93m) at the Rod McCravy Memorial and sixth (17.26m) at the Indiana Relays
- Finished seventh in the weight throw with a season-best 18.31m
- Finished ninth in the weight throw (17.07m) at the Michigan Invite
- Competed in the hammer throw (54.17m) and shot put (17.71m) at the Big Ten Championships
- Finished sixth in the shot put (17.55m) at the Jesse Owens Classic, also recording a PR in the hammer throw (54.63m)
