Ebin coached the two best pole vaulters in Ohio State history during 2017. He helped Madison Roberts set the school record both indoors (4.00m/13-1.25) and outdoors (4.08m/13-4.50). Roberts scored points for the Buckeyes at both conference meets with a seventh-place showing indoors and a bronze medal at outdoors. Megan Hoffman placed fifth at the 2017 Big Ten Outdoor Championships with the second-best mark in program history, a career-best clearance of 3.88m (12-8.75).
