Sarah Lemieux will serve as an undergraduate assistant coach for the Buckeyes in 2015. Lemieux was the Buckeyes’ starting goalie in 2013, making 17 starts and making 81 stops in 1225:32 in the cage. She made a career high eight stops in a 3-2 overtime victory against New Hampshire and was the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week for her efforts. In the Big Ten Tournament semifinals against Michigan State, she matched her career high with eight stops.
Lemieux is a native of Dublin, Ohio and played her first two season collegiately at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. At Dublin Coffman, she was the team MVP for four straight years and was a three-time All-Ohio selection. Her sister, Katie, is a redshirt freshman for the Buckeyes.
