
Buckeyes Earn NFHCA Academic Awards

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State field hockey has been honored with multiple academic awards from the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA).
Zella Bailey, Katie Crump, Lucy Curtis, Mary Davis, Grace Dixon, Katie Fichtner, Loryn Jordon, Autum Kernechel, Raleigh Kerst, Anne Marie Krebs, Carmela Maro, Philippa Schipper, Cam Standish, Cece Tomaszewski and Olivia Wallace were all named to the National Academic Squad. In order to qualify, an undergraduate student-athlete must have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher through the fall semester.
Bailey, Crump, Curtis, Davis, Kerst, Schipper and Wallace were also named National Scholars of Distinction. The National Scholars of Distinction program honors undergraduate student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.90 or higher through the fall semester.
The Buckeyes received National Academic Team honors. A team GPA of 3.50 or higher must be earned in order to qualify as a National Academic Team.
