- All-conference honorable mention and defensive player of the year as a junior

- Son of Wendy Long and Marshall McClurg
- Has two brothers, Ben and Zach
- Criminology major
- Would like to continue to play baseball after graduation as well as go into the Columbus Police Department and later join the FBI or DEA
- Enjoys fishing, cars, videogames and hanging out with friends
- Lists greatest sports thrill as winning a game on a walk-off hit in final at-bat for OSU Club baseball team
- His brother Ben played water polo for Ohio State and now coached the team to nationals last year
