
Ohio State Ready for Dual Meet Weekend Highlighted by Penn Relays

The Buckeyes will compete at the 130th running of the historic Penn Relays
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State track and field team travels to Philadelphia, Pa., this weekend for the 130th running of the Penn Relays. The Buckeyes are also sending a group of throwers to Louisville, Ky., for the Jim Freeman/Clark Wood Invitational. Both meets will begin on Thursday and end on Saturday.
Thursday's action at the Penn Relays begins at 5:30 p.m. with the college women's 400m hurdles championship, while Friday's schedule commences with the college women's long jump, college women's pole vault and college men's high jump all scheduled to start at noon. The final day of competition in Philadelphia will begin at 11:30 a.m. with the college men's high jump championship, college men's pole vault championship and college men's long jump championship.
The Jim Freeman/Clark Wood Invitational will open with the women's hammer throw on Thursday at 10 a.m., the women's javelin competition at 9:30 a.m. on Friday and at 10 a.m. Saturday with the men's discus throw.

- Kyler Brown set the Ohio State program record in the men's 100m last weekend at the Tom Jones Memorial, crossing the line in 10.12.
- Mason Louis and Tatum Lynn earned victories for the Buckeyes last weekend in Gainesville, Louis in the men's 400m (46.01) and Lynn in the women's 400m hurdles (57.63).
- Spencer ranks third in the country in the women's 100m hurdles with a time of 12.82 (+3.0) recorded at the Tom Jones Memorial.
- Braxton Brann currently has the 10th fastest men's 110m hurdle time in the country with his 13.43 registered at the Tom Jones Memorial.
- Aniya Mosley's program record time of 4:08.54 recorded at the Raleigh Relays is ranked 12th in the country in the women's 1500m. Katie Castelli also establish a program-best time in Raleigh, finishing the women's 3000m steeplechase in 10:04.34 and is ranked 21st nationally.
- DJ Fillmore's mark of 7.86m/25'9.5" (+2.5) in the men's long jump at the Texas Relays is currently the 14th best in the country.
- Brown (10.12) and Nazzio John (10.13) are ranked 17th and 20th, respectively, in the men's 100m.
- The Buckeyes have four relay squads ranked in the TFRRS top 25, including two in the men's 4x400m relay (10th and 17th), men's 4x100m relay (14th) and women's 4x400m relay (21st).
