COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women's gymnastics team's 2026 postseason continues this week in the NCAA regional round. The Buckeyes will compete in the second semifinal session of the Lexington Regional Friday, April 3 at 7 p.m. from Historic Memorial Coliseum.

Also in Ohio State's session are No. 1 seed Oklahoma, host and No. 16 seed Kentucky and the winner of the play in round between Central Michigan and Rutgers. The top two teams from each of Friday's semifinal sessions will compete in Sunday's regional final for a spot at the national championship meet.

Buckeyes in a Nutshell
- Ohio State qualified for regionals with a national qualifying score (NQS) of 196.492. The Buckeyes are making their 45th NCAA appearance this season and 20th consecutive appearance.
- The team ranks in the top 20 on three apparatuses this season. Ohio State's highest ranked event in 2026 is floor with an NQS of 49.356 to rank 13th nationally. The team earned a season-high 49.525 against Washington (Feb. 14). The Buckeyes are also 16th on beam and 17th on vault.
- Sophomore JJ Coleman was named a Second Team WCGA Regular Season All-American on floor this week. She is the second Buckeye in three seasons to earn the regular season All-America award. The Albuquerque, N.M. native is tied for 11th nationally with an NQS of 9.935. She has scored a 9.900 or higher in all but one meet this season and also recorded the program's first 10.0 since 2003 in the team's 2026 home finale. Coleman is also a Second Team All-Big Ten honoree and All-Championships Team member for 2026.
- Tory Vetter has competed in the all-around in every meet for the Buckeyes this season and picked up her third career First Team All-Big Ten award. She is seventh in the conference with an all-around national qualifying score of 39.410. She has a season-high of 39.525, which she has hit twice this season, and leads the team on uneven bars with a 9.900. Vetter has scored at least a 9.900 on three apparatuses this season.
- The team has seen 16 student-athletes contribute to the lineup this season, with 12 competing in at least nine meets this season.
- Ohio State has at least a 9.900 as its highest individual score on each apparatus this season. On beam, the team's top five highest scores of the year are all at least 9.925. Â
- Ohio State's roster includes four program record holders. Coleman's 10.0 on floor this season is the first 10.0 for the program since 2003 and is tied for the program record with Rickee Wirtzberger. Courtney McCann scored a program-record beam score of 9.975, which also tied her career high. She is the fourth Ohio State gymnast to record the score. Vetter and Payton Harris have tied the program's all-around record of 39.625 in their careers. The duo are the only Buckeyes to record the score this century. Â Â
- In addition to program records, eleven Ohio State gymnasts have hit personal record scores this season. Coleman, Jaylyn Pomager and Cameron Smith's team-leading 9.900 on vault are also career high marks for the three student athletes. Sadie Jane Berry (9.900), Kaitlyn Grimes (9.775), Ava Jackson (9.850), Pomager (9.825) and Maisyn Rader (9.875) have scored career highs on bars this year. On beam, Rylee Guevara (9.925), Jackson (9.925), McCann (9.975), Smith (9.875) and Vetter (9.925) hit career bests. Belman (9.925), Coleman (10.000), Grimes (9.925) and Smith (9.900) have earned career high scores on floor in 2026. Â Â
- Thirteen Buckeyes were named Academic All-Big Ten for their success in the classroom. The women's gymnastics Academic All-Big Ten honorees are Samara Buchanan, JJ Coleman, Mary Green, Kaitlyn Grimes, Rylee Guevara, Courtney McCann, Ashton Meuret, Kaylyn Mintz, Maisyn Rader, Karleigh Reutzel, Cameron Smith, Tory Vetter and Grace Walker.
- The Buckeyes are led by ninth-year head coach Meredith Paulicivic. She is assisted by associate head coach Randy Monahan and assistant coaches Mickayla Stuckey and Makayla Curtis. Paulicivic is 143-115 for her career.
