- The Ohio State women's lacrosse team closes out the regular season Saturday, hosting No. 3 Maryland at 4 p.m. in Ohio State Lacrosse Stadium.Â

- Admission and parking are free Saturday. It is Kids Day as well as Alumni Day for the team, welcoming back former players, including members of the 1996 inaugural team.Â
- Ohio State is 9-6 on the year (3-4 B1G) and downed Kent State 17-6 at home Wednesday in its last time out. Maryland is 13-2 (5-2 B1G) and lost at No. 11 Michigan, 15-4, Thursday night in its last game.
- The series between Ohio State and Maryland started in 2001 and the teams have met at least once each year since 2015 as Big Ten foes (with the exception the shortened 2020 season).
- Last year, Ohio State fell on the road to the Terps, 8-5, April 13, 2025.Â

- This year, she has started all 15 games for the Buckeyes, with 96 saves, a 10.25 goals-against average and .414 save percentage.
- Torres has 67 collegiate games played (all starts), posting a 10.46 gaa and .448 sv%. Â
- She matched her career best with 14 saves at Louisville Feb. 10 in a double overtime win and had 12 saves in the Buckeyes' win at Northwestern March 15 and against Rutgers March 19, tied for the fourth-most in her collegiate career.Â

- In its last time out, Ohio State defeated Kent State 17-6 Wednesday in Columbus. The Buckeyes never trailed in the game, with a 4-2 lead after one quarter and 8-3 advantage at halftime. Ohio State shut out the Golden Flashes in the third quarter, part of a scoreless streak of 20:48, while scoring six times for a 14-3 lead through three quarters and each team scored three times in the final stanza.
- Ohio State is averaging 13.53 goals per game, ranking 25th in the NCAA, and has 16 or more in six of the last 11 outings.Â
- Ohio State is allowing 10.13 goals per game, giving up 10 or less in 11 outings (including four or less four times). Â
- The Buckeyes are averaging 28.87 shots a game and holding opponents to 23.4 per outing. Ohio State is 19th nationally in shooting percentage (.469) and is averaging 21.4 shots on goal a game.
- Ohio State has converted 52.1 percent of its free position chances, ranking 22nd in the NCAA.Â

- Ohio State has two double overtime wins this year, both on the road. Kate Tyack notched the gamewinner at Louisville Feb. 10 and Kampbell Stone had the gwg April 11 at USC.
- The win at then-No. 4 Northwestern March 15 was the Buckeyes' first over a top 10 team since a 16-13 victory at No. 9 Penn State April 9, 2016, with Ohio State ranked 12th at the time. It was the first win over a team ranked in the top 5 since an unranked Ohio State squad beat No. 4 Northwestern in overtime 11-10 March 9, 2014.
Buckeye This and That
- Senior transfer Camryn Callaghan is first on the squad with 43 goals, including four in each of the last two outings, and ranks second with 55 points, standing third with 12 assists. She has a team-high nine player-up scores to tie for fifth in the Big Ten. Â
- Callaghan has a point in each of her last 30 games, with an 84-18-102 line in the stretch. Her career total is now 241 points (200g, 41a), notching career goal 200 Wednesday vs. Kent State. She ranks sixth among current NCAA players in career goals and is ninth in points, ranking 15th in goals per game (2.99).Â
- This year, Callaghan is fifth nationally and second in the Big Ten in free position goals per game (15/1.00). She has converted 57.7 percent of her free position opportunities to rank 25th.
- Junior Kate Tyack leads the Buckeyes with 64 points, ranking second with 37 goals and first with 27 assists, all career highs. She has multiple points in 14 of 15 games this season (all but Feb. 27 vs. Detroit Mercy), with multiple assists in eight games (including four in each of the last two games) and multiple goals in 10. She now has 95 goals and 133 points in her Buckeye career. Tyack is on a 20-game point streak, with 49 goals, 26 assists and 75 points in the stretch. She had a career-high eight points this week vs. Kent State. Tyack is the first Buckeye with 60-plus points since Liza Hernandez had 61 in 2019.
- Sophomore Abby Boyle, who was first on the team with 50 draw controls last year, had a program-record 16 against Detroit Mercy Feb. 27. The program record had been 13, set three times prior, with the last March 10, 2022 by Chloe Johnson. She leads the Buckeyes with 94 draw controls, the second most in program history behind Johnson's 124 in 2022. Boyle has five or more draws in 10 of the last 13 games. She currently ranks fifth in program history with 144 draw controls.Â
- Jocelyn Torres is first on the squad with 29 ground balls, followed by Darrien Furiness with 27. Furiness, a senior, has started all 15 games this season after playing in nine games the last three years combined. Furiness is second on the squad with 13 caused turnovers and had a career-high three last time out. Â
- Kampbell Stone is second on the team with 32 draw controls, followed by Delaney Harlan with 27.Â
- Audrey Schoemer, who has started all 47 games in her Buckeye career, is first on the team with 15 caused turnovers.
- Â Lindsey McCulloch, in her first year as a starter, and Stone are tied for third with 11 caused turnovers each.
- Zoe Coleman had three goals and four points last time out, with her assist marking the 100th point of her Ohio State career. She is third on the team with 20 goals this season, ranking fourth with 26 points. She now has 75 goals and 26 assists for 101 career points in 63 games. Â
- Stone has 18 goals on the year and shares the team lead with Tyack with three gamewinners.
- Annie Hargraves has five goals in her last two games combined and now has 18 goals to tie with Stone for fifth on the squad.Â
- Maddy Paz is third on the team with 19 goals and 36 points and second with 17 assists after a six-goal and point season as a freshman last year. She has a point in 12 of 15 games this season.Â
- Brooke Vinson has a goal in 12 of 15 games this year and has a career-high 15 goals and 18 points.Â

- Ohio State has secured a spot in the seven-team Big Ten Tournament. The No. 1 seed will receive a bye into the semifinals, with three quarterfinals April 22, the semifinals April 24 and the final April 26. Michigan will host the tournament at U-M Lacrosse Stadium in Ann Arbor.Â
