
Buckeyes Open Nine-Game Home Stand Against Toledo

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State baseball team (13-13) begins a nine-game home stand when it hosts Toledo (12-14) for a game at Bill Davis Stadium on Tuesday, March 31 at 6 p.m.

- Tuesday will be the first 614 Night at Bill Davis Stadium, featuring $6 tickets, $1 hot dogs and $4 beers. 614 Night tickets can be purchased HERE.

- Fans can purchase single game tickets HERE or on the TicketMaster app. Tickets can also be purchased at the ticket office at the Schottenstein Center or at Bill Davis Stadium on gameday. The ticket office will open 60 minutes prior to the start of each game. Students can get in for free with their BuckID.

- The Buckeyes swept a three-game series at Minnesota over the weekend. It was Ohio State's first conference series sweep since 2023.
- Ohio State won the series-opener, 4-3. Gavin Kuzniewski (2-1) struck out a career-high 10 batters in 5.0 innings pitched and he earned the win. Ryan Zamora earned his first career save; he struck out two in 1.0 inning pitched. Lincoln McVicker fanned a career-high four batters in 2.0 scoreless, hitless innings of relief.
- The Buckeyes clinched the series win with a 9-3 victory on Saturday. Dane Harvey had a team-high four RBIs. Chris Domke (3-3) earned the win on the mound; he struck out three in 5.2 scoreless innings.
- Ohio State completed the series sweep with a 12-9 win in the series finale. Maddix Simpson led the Buckeyes with a career-high four hits. Mason Eckelman, who hit a grand slam during the game, batted in six runs to tie his career-high. Zamora (1-0) earned his first win as a Buckeye. He struck out three in 2.0 innings pitched.
- Henry Kaczmar is on a 14-game hitting streak. He leads the Buckeyes at the plate, batting .330 and he has a team-high 35 hits.
- Eckelman leads the team in RBIs with 33. He is batting .306 with 30 hits.
- Noah Furcht is also hitting over .300; he is batting .306 with 30 hits. He leads the team in runs scored with 23.
- Eckelman and Harvey lead the Buckeyes in home runs with five each.
- Lee Ellis leads the Buckeyes in stolen bases; he has swiped seven bags on eight attempts.
- On the mound, Kuzniewski (2-1) leads the pitching staff with 41 strikeouts in 35.2 innings pitched.
