
Buckeyes Travel to North Carolina for Raleigh Relays

Ohio State athletes will compete over three days in Raleigh.
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State track and field team travels to Raleigh, N.C., this weekend for the Raleigh Relays. The meet will take place at NC State's Paul Derr Track & Field Facility, spanning from Thursday morning to Saturday afternoon.
Thursday's action begins at 9:30 a.m. with the women's shot put competition, while Friday's schedule commences with women's discus at 10 a.m. The men's hammer throw will kick off the final day of competition, beginning at 9:30 a.m. Saturday.

- Redshirt freshman Kiara Webb competed in her first collegiate outdoor meet last weekend at the USF Alumni Invitational. She placed first out of 46 competitors in the women's 400m, recording a time of 52.65. The mark currently ranks third in the country.
- Nicole Grimes claimed first in the open section of the women's pole vault competition, clearing 3.85m/12'7.5". The performance was the fourth best of her collegiate career.
- DJ Fillmore and Aniya Mosley were named Big Ten Athletes to Watch prior to the start of the outdoor season last Thursday.
- Fillmore is coming off an indoor season where he won a Big Ten Championship in the men's long jump after breaking an Ohio State program record that had been in place since 1992 (8.23m/27'0"). The junior is looking to compete at the NCAA Outdoor Championships for the second straight year.
- Mosley established program bests in the 800m (2:01.44), 1000m (2:42.87) and mile (4:28.30) races during the indoor season, giving her a total of five indoor and outdoor program records. She won three events over the course of the season, claimed silver in the 800m at the Big Ten Championships and competed at the NCAA Indoor Championships.
