
Ohio State Sixth at 2026 Big Ten Championship Meet

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 17 Ohio State women's gymnastics team scored a 196.250 to finish sixth overall at the 2026 Big Ten Women's Gymnastics Championships Saturday at the State Farm Center in Champaign, Ill.
The Buckeyes competed against Iowa, Maryland and Penn State in the second session of the conference championship meet. The team was second in the session.
JJ Coleman was named to the All-Championships Team on floor, scoring a 9.500 to finish second overall.
Ohio State's best event of the day was floor with a session-best 49.400 in its first rotation of the meet. In addition to Coleman's score, Tory Vetter also scored a 9.900. The team counted routines from Rylee Guevara (9.875), Kaitlyn Grimes (9.850) and Baylie Belman (9.825).
The Buckeyes went to vault next, finishing with a team score of 49.025. Coleman and Natalie Martin scored a team-high 9.825. Cameron Smith and Vetter also scored 9.800s on the apparatus.
Vetter led the team on uneven bars while Jackson, Smith and Martin led on balance beam, each scoring 9.825s. Coleman and Jaylyn Pomager also scored 9.800s on bars.
Ohio State will continue its season in the 2026 NC women's gymnastics championships. The team will find out its NCAA regional bid and location during the selection show at noon on Monday, March 23 on ESPNU. The regional is contested April 1-5.
