COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 17 Ohio State women's gymnastics team's postseason begins this weekend at the 2026 Big Ten Championship meet. The Buckeyes compete in session II of the championships against Iowa, Maryland and Penn State Saturday, March 21 at 1 p.m. (Noon CT) at the State Farm Center in Champaign, Ill.
The meet will be televised on Big Ten Network with Dean Linke and Olivia Karas on the call.

- Tory Vetter is a three-time First Team All-Big Ten honoree, the conference announced Wednesday. She is sixth in the conference with an all-around national qualifying score of 39.410. She has a season-high of 39.525, which she has hit twice this season, and leads the team on uneven bars with a 9.900. Vetter has scored at least a 9.900 on three apparatuses this season and leads the team on.
- Also earning All-Big Ten team recognition is JJ Coleman with the second team nod. Coleman has been one of the country's top performers on floor this season and this week ranks third in the Big Ten and 12th nationally with an NQS of 9.930. The sophomore has scored at least a 9.900 on the apparatus in all but one meet this season. Not only does she lead the team on floor, but she is tied for the team lead with a 9.900 on vault and uneven bars. Coleman has nine event titles on the year, with six on floor.
- Three Buckeyes in the lineup have hit program record scores in their Buckeye careers. Coleman's 10.0 on floor this season is the first 10.0 for the program since 2003 and is tied for the program record. Courtney McCann earned a program record beam score of 9.975, which also tied her career high. Vetter has tied the program's all-around record of 39.625 in her career.
- Ohio State is ranked 17th entering the conference championship meet. The team's national qualifying score of 196.522 is tied for fifth best in the Big Ten with Penn State.
- Ohio State's highest event ranking is 13th on floor (49.350). The Buckeyes are in the top 20 on vault (49.119) and beam (49.116).
- Eleven Ohio State gymnasts have hit career-high scores this season. Coleman, Jaylyn Pomager and Cameron Smith's team-leading 9.900 on vault are also career high marks for the three student athletes. Sadie Jane Berry (9.900), Kaitlyn Grimes (9.775), Ava Jackson (9.850), Pomager (9.825) and Maisyn Rader (9.875) have scored career highs on bars this year. On beam, Rylee Guevara (9.925), Jackson (9.925), McCann (9.975), Smith (9.875) and Vetter (9.925) hit career bests. Belman (9.925), Coleman (10.000), Grimes (9.925) and Smith (9.900) have earned career high scores on floor in 2026.
- In addition to the team's success on the floor this season, thirteen Buckeyes were named Academic All-Big Ten for their success in the classroom. The women's gymnastics Academic All-Big Ten honorees are Samara Buchanan, JJ Coleman, Mary Green, Kaitlyn Grimes, Rylee Guevara, Courtney McCann, Ashton Meuret, Kaylyn Mintz, Maisyn Rader, Karleigh Reutzel, Cameron Smith, Tory Vetter and Grace Walker.
- Ohio State won its session of the 2025 Big Ten Championships and finished seventh overall.
- The Buckeyes have won the Big Ten Championship meet five times in program history.
- The team's record Big Ten Championship meet score of 197.050 was hit in 2024.
