No. 17 Buckeyes Win Regular Season Finale at Arizona

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 17 Ohio State women's gymnastics team closed its 2026 regular season with a quad meet win at Arizona Friday night. The Buckeyes earned a final total of 196.650 to outscore the Wildcats (196.300), Texas Woman's University (194.325) and Southeast Missouri State (194.225) at the McKale Center at ALKEME Arena in Tucson, Ariz.
Ohio State won the vault (49.125) and floor (49.375) titles in the regular season finale while freshman Jaylyn Pomager won the individual vault title, junior Maisyn Rader and redshirt senior Tory Vetter tied for first on uneven bars, sophomore JJ Coleman won the floor title and Vetter took the beam and all-around titles.
The Buckeyes' floor rotation led the way for the second time this week. The team was led by Coleman's 9.925, her ninth score of at least 9.900 on the year. Rylee Guevara tied her season-best 9.875 to open the rotation and Ohio State counted another 9.875 from Vetter and a pair of 9.850s from Baylie Belman and Kaitlyn Grimes.
In the opening rotation of the meet, the Buckeyes scored a 49.150 on bars. The team was led by a pair of 9.875's from Rader and Vetter. Rader's score was a season best, tied her career high and earned her an event title for the first time this year. Sadie Jane Berry added a 9.850, giving her two consecutive meets with at least a 9.8 for the first time this season.
Ohio State's vault rotation was highlighted by Pomager's first career 9.900. Vetter and Coleman tied for second, scoring 9.850s. Pomager's event title on vault is just her second of her career.
On beam, Vetter led the rotation with a career-high tying 9.925. Ava Jackson tied for second on the day with a 9.875, her second-best score of the season. The team finished the rotation with an overall score of 49.000.
Vetter added her sixth all-around title to her collection with a season-high tying final score of 39.525.
Ohio State begins its 2026 postseason at the Big Ten Championships. The team competes in the second session of the championships on Saturday, March 21 at 1 p.m. from the State Farm Center in Champaign, Ill. The meet will be televised on Big Ten Network.
