Paz leads Ohio State with four goals
COLUMBUS, Ohio – Behind hat tricks from four Buckeyes and an outstanding defensive effort, the Ohio State women's lacrosse team defeated Robert Morris, 17-3, Sunday in Ohio State Lacrosse Stadium. The Buckeyes (4-2) jumped out to a 5-1 lead against the Colonials (2-4) en route to the victory, their second of the weekend.

Maddy Paz led Ohio State with four goals and Camryn Callaghan had a hat trick and an assist for four points. Kate Tyack and Kampbell Stone each scored three goals for Ohio State. The Buckeyes limited Robert Morris to just 10 shot attempts and shut out the Colonials for a 39:41 span from the first to the fourth quarters.

- Callaghan opened the scoring at 10:17 for an 11-1 lead and running clock.
- Paz tallied back-to-back at 8:18 and 3:42 (set up by Isabelle Osborn) and Tyack closed out the quarter with a goal at 1:03.
- Maeve Simonds tallied her first goal of the year to start the scoring in the fourth quarter.
- Each team scored twice the rest of the way, with Osborn and Lydia Tangney finding the back of the cage for the Buckeyes.
- Ohio State had 37 shot attempts in the game and limited Robert Morris to 10.
- Three Buckeye goalies combined for five saves and two RMU goalies stopped 11 Ohio State shots. Jocelyn Torres led the Buckeyes with four saves on five shots in 37:00.
- Ohio State recorded 15 of 23 draw controls. Abby Boyle had five, Stone had three and Delaney Harlan and Sammie Bender each had two.
- Tyack, Darrien Furiness and Audrey Schoemer each caused two turnovers.

- Paz scored four goals to mark her career high after five career two-goal games and matched her personal best of four points set Friday vs. the Titans. She has five-straight multiple-point games and is third on the team with 11 goals and 15 points on the year.
- Callaghan has a team-high 18 goals and 25 points and is second with seven assists. She now has 211 career points (175g, 36a). Callaghan has a point in each of her last 21 games, with a 56-13-69 line in the stretch.
- Tyack is second for the Buckeyes with 13 goals and 22 points and is first with nine assists. She is on 12-game goal and point streaks (25g, 35p). It was her 10th career game with at least three goals. She has 71 goals and 92 points in her Buckeye career. Â
- Stone now has seven games with at least three goals and points and is fourth on the squad with nine tallies this year.
- Tangney recorded her first collegiate goal.
- Furiness had a career high four ground balls and two caused turnovers.
- Osborn marked her third two-point game of the season and her second straight game with a goal and an assist.
- Boyle, who set the program record with 16 draw controls Friday against Detroit Mercy, now leads Ohio State with 37 this year.
