Ohio State opens stretch of three consecutive road games
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Ohio State women's lacrosse team begins the first of three consecutive road games at Louisville Tuesday. The Buckeyes (0-1) and Cardinals (0-0) will meet at noon at UofL Lacrosse Stadium. The game can be watched on ACC Network Extra (ACCNX) with live statistics available.

- Ohio State and Louisville are meeting for the fifth year in a row, with the Buckeyes 3-1 in the last four matchups.
- All-time, Ohio State leads the series, 8-4, with each team winning three games in Louisville.
- Last year, Ohio State was a 9-6 winner at home Feb. 15, 2025.
- The game Tuesday opens the season for Louisville.
- Buckeye alumna Riley Ewing (2018-22) is in her first year as an assistant coach for the Cardinals after two years on the staff at George Mason.
- Ohio State is in a stretch of three straight road games, heading to Cincinnati next Monday (Feb. 16) and to North Carolina Feb. 20. A three-game homestand follows.
- The Buckeyes opened the season with a 13-10 loss to Pitt Saturday in the Woody Hayes Athletic Center.
- Senior transfer Camryn Callaghan led the Buckeyes with four goals and six points against Pitt. She now has 192 collegiate points, with 161 goals and 31 assists. Â
- Callaghan is on a 16-game point streak and has a 42-8-50 line in the 16 games combined.
- Junior Kate Tyack had four points, with two goals and two assists, vs. the Panthers. It was her 18th career multiple-point outing and her ninth with four or more points. It was Tyack's second game with multiple assists after a four-assist game April 13, 2024 at Northwestern.
- Tyack is on seven-game goal and point streaks, with 14 goals and 17 points in the stretch.
- Lindsay Moneymaker notched her first career goal against Pitt and Brooke Vinson had her first goal, assist and points since a three-point day (1g, 2a) vs. Youngstown State Feb. 16, 2024.
- Kampbell Stone led Ohio State with three caused turnovers against Pitt. It was a career high after five games with two caused turnovers. She was tied with Ella Wright for second on the team in the game with three ground balls and also recorded two draw controls.
- Goalie Jocelyn Torres led the Buckeyes with five ground balls against Pitt. She had six saves and two caused turnovers in the game.
- Delaney Harlan led the Buckeyes with three draw controls against Pitt, the first of her collegiate career.
- Graduate student Annie Hargraves, Torres and Stone were selected as the Buckeyes' team captains for this season.
- Callaghan, Torres and Tyack were among the 27 players named to the Big Ten Players to Watch list.
- Ohio State heads to Cincinnati for a game against its instate foe at 1 p.m. Feb. 16, followed by a game at defending NCAA champion North Carolina Feb. 20 in Chapel Hill, N.C..
- Ohio State will then return home for a three-game homestand, welcoming Detroit Mercy (Feb. 27), Robert Morris (March 1) and Vanderbilt (March 7).Â
