Buckeyes Head to Cincinnati for Monday Game vs. the Bearcats

The Basics
- The Ohio State women's lacrosse team continues its stretch of road games with a matchup against Cincinnati Monday.
- The Buckeyes and Bearcats will meet at 3 p.m. in Nippert Stadium in Cincinnati.

- Ohio State is 1-1 on the year after an 11-10 win in double overtime at Louisville last Tuesday. Cincinnati is 2-1 and posted a 17-7 win at Wofford Friday in its last time out.

- Last year, Ohio State recorded a 10-9 win over Cincinnati in Columbus March 7, 2025. Kate Tyack scored four goals in the game, including the overtime winner.

- Cincinnati is 2-1 on the year. The squad downed Xavier, 17-9, on the road to open the season, fell at Marquette, 17-10, and defeated Wofford on the road last week, 17-7.
- For the second year in a row, Buckeye goalie Jocelyn Torres has been named to the watch list for the Tewaaraton Award.
- This year, she has a 10.68 goals-against average and .465 save percentage.
- Torres has 54 collegiate starts, with a 10.53 gaa and .548 sv%.
- Last time out at Louisville, Torres matched her career best with 14 saves.
- Ohio State is in a stretch of three straight road games. It started with a double overtime win at Louisville, followed by Monday's game at Cincinnati, and wraps up at No. 1 North Carolina Friday. A three-game homestand follows.
- Senior transfer Camryn Callaghan is first on the squad with nine points, including a career-best three assists in her last time out and four goals and two assists in the season opener. She now has 195 collegiate points, with 161 goals and 34 assists, ranking sixth among current NCAA players in career goals and ninth in points.
- Callaghan is on a 17-game point streak and has a 42-11-53 line in the 17 games combined.
- Junior Kate Tyack leads the Buckeyes with six goals and is coming off a four-goal performance against Louisville. She had the overtime winner, her fifth career gamewinning goal. and now has seven games with four or more goals. Tyack had a career-high 16 shots against the Cards and leads the NCAA in shots per game (11.0).
- Tyack is on eight-game goal and point streaks, with 18 goals and 21 points in the stretch.
- Against Louisville, sophomore Lindsey McCulloch and junior Audrey Schoemer each had three caused turnovers. McCulloch also picked up four ground balls in the win and Schomer had two
- Junior Delaney Harlan is first on the squad with seven draw controls, recording three vs. Pitt and four vs. Louisville. She did not have a draw control entering the season.
- Senior Zoe Coleman had a hat trick vs. Louisville, her sixth career game with at least three scores.
- Sophomore Maddy Paz notched a career-best two assists (the first of her career) and three points at UofL.
- Annie Hargraves, Torres and Stone were selected the Buckeyes' team captains for this season.
- Ohio State will play at defending NCAA champion North Carolina at 1:30 p.m. Friday.
- The Buckeyes will then return home for a three-game homestand, welcoming Detroit Mercy (Feb. 27), Robert Morris (March 1) and Vanderbilt (March 7).
