
Buckeyes Keep Pace Through 2 Rounds Puerto Rico Classic

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State carded another under-par round of 7-under 281 and remains in contention through 36 holes of the Puerto Rico Classic in Rio Grande, P.R.
The Buckeyes are 28-under par as a team and in third place behind the top two teams in the country, Virginia and LSU.
Sophomore Vaughn Harber followed his opening round 65 with a 2-under 70 and is 9-under par through two rounds. He is tied for fifth, just two shots off the pace heading into Wednesday’s final round. Harber is seeking the first win of his collegiate career.
Redshirt-junior Tyler Sabo had 1-under 71 on Tuesday and is a couple shots behind Harber at 7-under par. Timotej Formanek had the lowest round of the day for the Buckeyes with a bogey-free 3-under 69 and is at 6-under par.
Joe Wilson IV and Jack Vojtko are both 4-under par through 36 holes as Wilson has shot rounds of 69-71 and Vojtko has posted scores of 67-73.
The Buckeyes will be paired for the second consecutive round with Virginia and LSU. The final round starts with a shotgun start on Wednesday morning at 6:30 a.m. ET.
