IOWA CITY, Iowa – The No. 12/11 Ohio State women's basketball team (18-3, 7-2 B1G) fell to No. 10/10 Iowa (18-2, 9-0 B1G) on Sunday afternoon by a 91-70 margin inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena.

Ohio State got off to a quick start before Iowa settled in and built a 24-14 lead after 10 minutes. The Hawkeyes extended their lead to 48-32 at halftime and then 71-51 after three quarters of play. Both teams shot the ball well in the fourth quarter and Iowa earned the 91-70 win.

Ava Watson was the first Buckeye to reach double figures, scoring 10 points in the game. Chance Gray (16) and Jaloni Cambridge (26) joined Watson in double figures. Elsa Lemmilä became the 12th player in program history to reach 100 career blocks after five blocks today. J. Cambridge earned her first career double-double by adding a career-high 10 rebounds.

- Q1: Ava Watson opened scoring on the game's first possession and back-to-back Buckeye three-pointers gave Ohio State an early 8-2 advantage. Iowa responded with six unanswered points to tie the game at eight with 6:28 to play. The Hawkeyes took their first lead of the game just past the midway point of the quarter and used a 12-0 run to take a 20-11 lead. Iowa held the 24-14 advantage after 10 minutes.
