Ohio State Slated for Women’s Funkytown Showdown in Fort Worth

The Buckeyes will face Texas in the neutral-site event on Sunday, Nov. 22.
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women's basketball team announced its participation in the inaugural Lone Star Series on Thursday. The Buckeyes will face Texas in the Women's Funkytown Showdown on Sunday, Nov. 22 in Fort Worth, Texas.
The Lone Star Series is organized by Wild Horse Sports Management with the games taking place in Dickies Arena. The Women's Funkytown Showdown on Nov. 22 is a doubleheader featuring TCU and Utah State in the first game and headlined by the Ohio State vs. Texas matchup. The event reflects the platform's Texas-centered identity and its mission to elevate women's college basketball through premier in-state and national matchups.
Ticket presale for the event begins Friday at 11 a.m. ET and runs through Thursday, Sept. 3 at 11 p.m. ET. Purchase presale tickets HERE. General sales for tickets will begin on Friday, Sept. 4 at 11 a.m. ET.
