No. 3 Seed Ohio State Set to Host No. 6 Lindenwood Saturday

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ohio State (16-10) earned the No. 3 seed in the 2025 Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association Tournament with a five-match win streak to end the regular season. Three of those wins were over Top 15 opponents in Columbus.Â
The Buckeyes will battle No. 6 seed Lindenwood at 5 p.m. Saturday at the Covelli Center in the MIVA Quarterfinals. The match will be streamed on B1G+.Â

Ohio State finished the MIVA regular season with an 11-5 record, tied with Lewis University for the No. 3 spot in the league standings. The Buckeyes won a tie-breaker with the Flyers by winning five sets in the regular season series. Lewis won four. Ohio State fell 3-2 at Lewis and won 3-1 in Columbus.Â
Against Lindenwood, the Buckeyes won both regular-season meetings by scores of 3-1.Â
Ohio State has won each of the last two MIVA postseason tournaments and own 19 league tournament titles overall. The winner of the 2025 event will advance to the 2025 NCAA Championships as the league's automatic qualifier.
