- The No. 21 Ohio State women's lacrosse team heads to New Jersey for a Big Ten game against Rutgers Sunday.
- The teams will face off in SHI Stadium in Piscataway at 1 p.m.Â
- The game will be streamed through Big Ten Plus.
- Ohio State is in a stretch of three games in eight games.
- The Buckeyes are 8-2 on the year, coming off a home loss to No. 10 Michigan Thursday, and are 1-2 in B1G play. The Scarlet Knights are 7-4 and have a 1-1 B1G mark. Rutgers last played at Johns Hopkins Sunday, falling to the Blue Jays.
- The Buckeyes trail the series with Rutgers, 5-10 overall and 4-8 since the start of B1G play.
- Last year, the teams met in Columbus April 18, 2024, with the Scarlet Knights winning 13-11.
- The last meeting in Piscataway, N.J., was April 20, 2023, when Rutgers won in overtime, 13-12.Â
- Rutgers is 1-1 in the Big Ten  this season, with a 10-6 win at Oregon and 17-7 loss at Johns Hopkins.Â

- Junior goalie Jocelyn Torres was named to the Tewaaraton Watch List and an Inside Lacrosse Midseason Third Team All-American after an outstanding start to the season.Â
- Torres ranks third nationally in save percentage (.544) and is fourth in goals-against average (7.44).
- She has 86 saves, with just 72 goals allowed, through her first 10 games as a Buckeye, with an 8-2 record.Â
- Ohio State fell to No. 10 Michigan in Columbus Thursday evening.Â
- The Buckeyes opened the scoring but a three-goal run from the Wolverines gave them a 3-1 lead through the first quarter. Ohio State and Michigan traded goals early in the second for a 4-2 game. The Buckeyes then outscored UM 4-0 before halftime for a 6-4 lead. The Wolverines shut out Ohio State for much of the second half to take control en route to a 14-7 win.
- In the national rankings this week, Ohio State is No. 21 in the IWLCA coaches poll and No. 18 in the IL Women media poll.
- The Buckeyes rank first nationally in clearing percentage (.954) and are 24th in caused turnovers per game (9.80).
- The Buckeyes are fourth in the NCAA in scoring defense, allowing 7.4 goals per game. The loss Thursday to Michigan was the first time this year the Buckeyes allowed double-digit goals.
- Katie Kaucheck, Ella Wright, Lilli Sherman and Audrey Schoemer have all started the first 10 games on defense.
- Sherman is first on the team with 17 caused turnovers, followed by Kaucheck with 12. Â
- Sherman had two ground balls and two caused turnovers last time out vs. Michigan, Schoemer had three caused turnovers and a ground ball and Wright caused three turnovers.Â
- Sherman and Emily Magalotti are tied for first with 17 ground balls and Schoemer has 16. Goalie Jocelyn Torres and Kampbell Stone each have 15.Â
- Brynn Ammerman leads the Buckeyes with 31 assists and 42 points. She is on a 13-game point streak (14g, 35a, 49p). Ammerman has two or more assists in all but one game this year and is 10th in the NCAA in assists, ranking 10th nationally and second in the B1G in assists per game (3.10).Â
- Ammerman has 99 points in her Buckeye career, with 36 goals and 63 assists in 41 games.
- Ammerman's seven-assist game vs. Akron Feb. 26 is tied for the eighth-most in a single game this season in the NCAA and tied for fourth in program history. She also had a hat trick vs. the Zips for a 10-point day, tied for the fourth-most in the NCAA this year and tying for fourth in school history.
- Zoe Coleman has at least one goal in 14 of the last 15 games. She has notched 48 goals in her 44-game career, adding 21 assists for 69 points. Coleman is third on the squad with a career-high 19 goals this year.
- Stone had a nine-game goal-scoring streak end vs. Michigan. She has 21 goals this season to rank second on the team. She has nine multiple goal outings at OSU, with 35 goals and 36 points in 27 games.
- Kate Tyack has at least one goal in eight of the last nine games. On the year, Tyack has a team-best 23 goals. She has 13 games with two or more goals through her first 27 collegiate games and has 58 points, with 47 goals and 11 assists, as a Buckeye.Â
- Emily Magalotti recorded her second two-goal game of the year vs. the Wolverines Thursday and also had two ground balls in the game. She has eight points, with six goals, this season, along with 17 ground balls and 22 draw controls.
- Leah Sax has at least one point in nine of 10 games this season, including 11 points (6g, 5a) in her last four games combined. She is third on the team with 25 points, ranking fourth in goals (14) and second in assists with a career-high 11. After just three appearances and one goal through her first three years at Ohio State, Sax has 44 goals, 18 assists and 62 points in the 27 games since the start of 2024.
- Makena Harrington had two goals vs. Michigan, her third multiple-goal outing in the last four games. She now has an 8-2-10 line on the year.Â
- Annie Hargraves has seven goals in her last four games combined, with a hat trick at Oregon and two goals at San Diego State and vs. USC. She has 12 goals on the year and 49 in her career, adding an assist for 50 points in 44 career games.
- Freshman Abby Boyle had a career-high seven draw controls at San Diego State, passing the six she had in the win over Cincinnati. She leads the team with 31, followed by Magalotti with 22.

- Ohio State will play at Penn State at noon April 6 before hosting Johns Hopkins at 6 p.m. April 10.
