Game Theme & Promotions
- Saturday's game theme is Our Honor Defend. As part of the annual military appreciation game, the team will honor Stephen "Tyler" Murphy prior to the first faceoff. After serving in the Navy from 2005-10, Murphy left active duty to pursue a degree at Ohio State and during that time was an active mentor within the men's lacrosse program, teaching leadership principle and helping instill the Buckeye culture in the student-athletes who came through the program. He returned to active duty in 2012 and spent the next decade serving before his life was tragically cut short in 2022. The flagpole at Ohio State Lacrosse Stadium is dedicated in his honor.
- Veterans are eligible for tickets through VetTix.
- The first 100 fans will receive Buckeye Lacrosse tech gloves.
- The 2015 Ohio State men's lacrosse team will also be recognized during Saturday's game. The team finished the year 12-7 with a Big Ten championship game appearance and a trip to the NCAA quarterfinal with a win over two-time defending national champion Duke in the first round.
