Andrews’ Sixth-Place All-Around Finish at Winter Cup Leads Buckeyes

The Buckeyes had six gymnasts compete at the 2025 Winter Cup in Louisville this weekend.
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 3 Ohio State men's gymnastics team (9-1, 1-0 B1G) had seven gymnasts compete at the Winter Cup in Louisville, Ky. on Friday and Sunday.
On Friday, Drake Andrews earned the highest high bar score (13.350) of the competition and was fifth overall in the all-around (78.400) with both being career-highs. Parker Thackston earned the highest pommel horse score (14.150) in the competition. Kameron Nelson and Jesse Pakele tied for the second-best floor score (13.950).
On Sunday, Andrews finished sixth in the all-around with a two-day total score of 155.300 and was second on high bar (26.850). Pakele was third on floor (27.550).
