COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 3 Ohio State men's gymnastics team (9-1, 1-0 B1G) resumes Big Ten action at No. 7 Nebraska (6-4, 0-1 B1G) in a dual meet on Saturday at 2 p.m. ET. The meet will be streamed on B1G+.
- The Buckeyes are coming off their Winter Cup break. Ohio State sent seven gymnasts to compete at Winter Cup with five in the all-around and two as event specialists.
- Drake Andrews led the Buckeyes with a sixth-place finish in the all-around (155.300), including a career-high 78.400 in the all-around on the first day of competition. He also finished second on high bar (26.850) after career-highs on both days and a 13.500 on the second day.
- Jesse Pakele finished third on floor (27.550) after a season-high 13.950 on the first day.
- Parker Thackston rounded out the Buckeyes' top five overall finishes with a fifth-place finish on pommel horse (27.000) after earning the highest pommel horse score on the first day of competition (14.150).
- Kristian Grahovski (150.000), David Ramirez (149.650) and Jesse Pakele (148.050) finished 11th, 12th and 13th, respectively, in the all-around competition.
- Following Winter Cup, Ramirez was named Big Ten Freshman of the Week for the first time in his career.
