The Buckeyes won by scores of 25-12, 26-24, 22-25, 25-19.

Shane Wetzel led the Buckeyes with 15 kills while Stanislaw Chacinski added 13 and Kyle Teune 11.

Setter Daniel Henwood Rodriguez led the seven digs to go with 45 assists.
Set 1 (OSU, 25-12)
The Buckeyes started with a 9-3 lead after a Cole Young kill. A Daniel Henwood Rodriguez ace made it 12-4 Buckeyes after a Lindenwood timeout. A Thomas Leahey kill upped the lead to 14-5. Ohio State went up by 10 after a Kyle Teune kill to make it 16-6 Buckeyes. Another Teune kill made it 19-7 Buckeyes. Another Teune kill made it set point at 24-11 Buckeyes. Ohio State got the win 25-12 on a Lions service ace.

Set 2 (OSU, 26-24)
Ohio State trailed early but used a 4-0 run to take a 7-5 lead. The Lions responded with consecutive points to tie it at 7-all. The teams went back and forth until a Shane Wetzel kill and ace put the Buckeyes up 12-9. Young added an ace after a Lindenwood timeout to make it 16-12. After an Ohio State 4-0 run, the Lions countered with a 3-0 run of their own to make it 17-15 Buckeyes. Ohio State called a timeout before Lindenwood used a 3-1 run to tie the set at 18-all. The Buckeyes took a 19-18 on a big triple block. A Wetzel kill made it 21-20 Buckeyes before a Lions timeout. Lindenwood took a 23-22 lead on an Ohio State service error before a Stanislaw Chacinski kill evened it at 23-all. A Lions kill led to set point before another Chacinski kill tied it at 24-all. Wetzel gave the Buckeyes a kill for set point Buckeyes before Lindenwood's final timeout. Ohio State then won the set 26-24 with a kill.

Set 3 (LIN 25-22)
Ohio State started with a 4-2 lead after a Wetzel ace. The teams punched and counter punched after Ohio State led 8-7 until the Lions went up 15-13 at the media timeout following a 3-1 run. Lindenwood kept the lead at two after a kill made it 18-16 Lions. Ohio State called timeout trailing 23-21 but could not close the gap and fell 25-22.

Set 4 (OSU, 25-19)
Ohio State took a 7-4 lead after a 4-1 run. A Teune blast and Chacinski ace upped the lead to 9-5 Buckeyes. Ohio State managed a 13-8 lead after a Lions error. Young hammered a kill from the middle before a Lions error made it 15-9. Wetzel scored off the block for a 17-11 advantage. Another Wetzel kill followed by a Lindenwood net violation led to the Lions' final timeout of the set with the Buckeyes leading 20-12. Lindenwood scored the next two out of the break leading to an Ohio State timeout. Chacinski answered with a kill for a 21-14 lead for the Buckeyes. Leahey made it 22-15 with a kill. Lindenwood scored the next before a Teune kill made it 23-17 Buckeyes. A Lindenwood service error led to match point before Chacinski finished off the set (25-19) and match (3-1) with a kill.
