COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men's lacrosse team hosts its fifth game of a seven-game home stretch Saturday when it welcomes Air Force to Ohio State Lacrosse Stadium. The Buckeyes (3-1) and Falcons (0-2) face off at 2 p.m.

The game is the second of the Buckeye Lacrosse double-header Saturday at Ohio State Lacrosse Stadium. The women's lacrosse team starts the day with a game against Louisville at 10 a.m. Admission for women's lacrosse games is free.

Both the men's and women's programs will be honoring the One Love Foundation at their respective games. The foundation's goal is to end relationship abuse and empower young people with the tools to see the signs of healthy and unhealthy relationships.
As part of the promise to "love better," the teams went through education sessions this week to learn more about ending the stigma and finding ways to be better partners and friends.
The first 100 fans in attendance for Saturday's game vs. Air Force will receive a crewneck sweatshirt. Guests will need to stay until halftime to claim the giveaway.

Buckeyes In a Nutshell

The Buckeyes enter Saturday's matchup vs. the Falcons already with a win under their belt this week. The team earned a 16-4 win over Bellarmine Tuesday night.
Ohio State has held its last four opponents to just four goals apiece. The team's scoring defense through four games (7.75) ranks 13th nationally.
Ohio State is led on offense by Alex Marinier with 12 goals, Garrett Haas with 15 points and Griffin Turner with seven assists.
Haas recorded a season-high six points in the win over Bellarmine on three goals and three assists. He has a point in each game this season for the Buckeyes and multiple goals in three contests.
Marinier is also on a four-game point streak and has a goal in every game this season. The senior attacker has three-plus goals in three of four games this season.
Jack Oldman leads the Buckeyes at the faceoff X with a .638 win percentage (44-for-69). His 14 faceoffs won in Tuesday's win over the Knights were a season high for Ohio State. His efforts have helped the Buckeyes to an overall faceoff win percentage of .571, which is good for second in the Big Ten.
Ohio State has been dominate in the ground ball battle, grabbing 40.50 per game. The team ranks second in the country in the category and is led by Oldman with a team-high 33 ground balls on the year. He paces the league with 8.25 per game. Cullen Brown's 14 ground ball pick ups lead non-faceoff players on the team.
In goal for the Buckeyes, sophomore Caleb Fyock is 3-0 with a .667 save percentage in four games played. He has earned a 4.73 goals against average on the year.
Ohio State averages 14.00 caused turnovers per game in the first two weeks of the 2025 season. The mark is good for second in the country. Brown's 10 caused turnovers lead the team and his 2.50 caused turnovers per game are tied for most in the conference. His season total leads the country and he is joined in the top 10 by Bobby Van Buren (8) and Zack Antoniou (6).

Brown Named B1G POTW

Cullen Brown was named the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week on Tuesday. The award is his second of his career.
Brown, who has started every game this season at close defense for the Buckeyes, helped the team hold each of its week two opponents to just four goals.
The Silver Spring, Md. native led the Buckeyes with six caused turnovers in the 14-4 victories and picked up a combined seven ground balls.

History vs. Air Force

Ohio State is 20-5 in the all-time series vs. Air Force dating back to 1994.
Ohio State has an 11-2 advantage in the series on home turf. The Falcons were the first regular season opponent the Buckeyes hosted at Ohio State Lacrosse Stadium in 2023. The game ended in a 15-7 win for Ohio State.
Prior to 2023, the teams had not played each other since 2014 when they were conference foes in the ECAC.
This is the third meeting in as many seasons between the two teams. Last year, Ohio State earned a 12-4 victory over Air Force in Colorado.
