
Porvasnik Clinches LPGA Card, Will Debut in 2025

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Former Ohio State women's golfer Jessica Porvasnik is LPGA bound after mathematically clinching her LPGA card after a tied-for-13th place finish at the Guardian Championship earlier this month.
Porvasnik, who is second in the Race for the Card rankings with 1,400 total points, has been competing on the EPSON Tour since 2018 and has had a phenomenal 2024 season. She has made 16 cuts, has six top-10 finishes and has earned over $110,000 in prize money.
After carding a 74 (+2) in the first round of the Guardian Championship, Porvasnik fired rounds of 66 (-6) and 69 (-3) in the final two rounds to tie for 13th place with a 54-hole total of 209 (-7). She earned 55.20 Race for the Card points and mathematically earned her way to her spot on the LPGA Tour in 2025.
Porvasnik's highest finish this season came at the Twin Bridges Championship in July. She placed second with a score of 206 (-7). She tied for second at the Atlantic Beach Classic in March with a three-round score of 207 (-6) and finished third at her most recent event, the Tuscaloosa Classic, firing a 12-under 204.
The next EPSON Tour event is the Murphy USA El Dorado Shootout this weekend and the season wraps up Oct. 3-6 with the EPSON Tour Championship at Indian Wells.
