Buckeyes at Track & Field 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Trials

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- At the 2024 U.S. Track & Field Olympic Team Trials in Eugene, Ore., this week, a number of current and former Buckeyes are competing.

June 21
- Anavia Battle ('22)Â advanced to the semifinals of the 100m, running a time of 11.19 to finish seventh in her heat and 22nd overall.
- Hayden Tobias competed in the shot put, finishing 16th, four spots out of qualifying for the final.
- In the 100m, Nya Bussey was seventh in her heat in 11.38, one spot away from a place in the semis.
- Bryannia Murphy ran in the 400m, finishing sixth in her heat in 53.03, a spot back from the semifinals.
- In the triple jump, Jaimie Robinson ('23) was 18th in qualifying, with the Top 12 advancing to the final.Â
June 22
- Anavia Battle ('22)Â finished sixth in the 100m semifinals, placing third in her heat in a personal-best 11.09, to clinch a spot in the final. She ran 11.12 in the final, placing ninth.
- Amaya Ugarte competed in the high jump, tying for 17th.
- Faith Bender was 16th in the discus throw, with her farthest mark 55.26. The Top 12 advanced to the final.Â
- In the 200m, Anavia Battle ('22) was third in her heat with the seventh-fastest time overall (22.57) to advance to the semifinals.Â
- Chanler Robinson ran a 58.02 in the 400m hurdles, placing fifth in her heat to claim a spot in the semifinals.
- Christina (Manning) Clemons ('12) was first in her heat and sixth fastest overall in the first round of the 100m hurdles, running 12.56, to earn a spot in the semifinals.
- Anavia Battle ('22) was fourth in her semifinal heat in the 200m in 22.41. Her time, a season-best, was 10th overall and she finished just outside a spot in the final.
- Adelaide Aquilla ('22) is the No. 4 seed heading into the women's shot put final, with her best throw in the first round 19.25.
- Christina (Manning) Clemons ran 12.52 to win her 100m hurdles heat. She was fifth overall and will race in Sunday's final.
- Adelaide Aquilla ('22) finished fourth in the shot put, with her best throw 18.92.Â
- In the semifinals of the 400m hurdles, Chanler Robinson was ninth in her heat (57.44).
- In the final of the 100m hurdles, Christina (Manning) Clemons ran 12.61 and finished seventh.
