COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women's lacrosse team fell at No. 10 Johns Hopkins, 15-5, Saturday in Baltimore, Md., in a Big Ten game. The Blue Jays jumped out to an early lead in the first quarter and the Buckeyes were unable to recover. Ohio State is now 6-4 on the year (0-3 B1G), with the Blue Jays improving to 8-3 (1-1 B1G).

How it Happened
- A quick start gave the Blue Jays a 4-0 lead at the 9:08 mark of the first quarter.
- Buckeye Annie Hargraves set up Kate Tyack for a goal at 6:55, but two Blue Jay tallies pushed the lead to 6-1 at the end of the first quarter.
- Only three goals were scored in the second quarter, with a Jamie Lasda tally, set up by a Regan Alexander clear, sandwiched by two JHU goal. The Blue Jays led 8-2 at halftime.
- Johns Hopkins notched five in a row to start the second half to move the lead to 13-2.
- Lasda notched a player-down goal for the Buckeyes at 2:57 and a player-up goal from Hopkins closed the scoring in the third stanza.
- Hopkins opened the scoring at 11:36 of the fourth quarter.
- Ohio State tallied the final two goals, with Brynn Ammerman setting up Kampbell Stone at 9:43 and Coleman finding Hargraves for a tally at 1:52.
- Ohio State had 11 of the 23 draw controls in the game. Lasda had four, while Hargraves, Tyack and Emily Magalotti each had two.
- Alexander led the Buckeyes with five ground balls and also had four caused turnovers. She ended the day with seven saves.
