COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State baseball team (10-8) opens its home schedule this weekend, welcoming the Georgetown Hoyas (13-7) for a three-game series at Nick Swisher Field at Bill Davis Stadium March 22-24.

- Fans can purchase tickets online at ticketmaster.com or on the TicketMaster app. Tickets can also be purchased at the ticket office at the Schottenstein Center or at Bill Davis Stadium on gameday. The ticket office will open 90 minutes prior to the start of each game. Students can get in free with their BuckID.
- There are multiple events on campus this weekend, including at the Schottenstein Center. Baseball fans should self-identify upon arrival for free parking in the Gray 4 lot next to Bill Davis Stadium. Additional parking is available in the Buckeye Lots across from the Covelli Center.
- The Buckeyes won two out of three games at West Virginia last weekend.
- In the opening game of the series, Ohio State fell to the Mountaineers, 5-2. Despite the loss, Beidelschies had an impressive appearance on the mound, fanning a career-high 12 batters in 6.1 innings pitched. He allowed three runs on six hits.
- The Buckeyes bounced back with a 7-4 victory in game two of the series. A two-run home run from Hank Thomas sent the game-winning run home for Ohio State. Thomas, Matthew Graveline, Joseph Mershon and Josh Stevenson led the Buckeyes with two hits each in the game.
- Ohio State dominated the Mountaineers in the series finale, earning a 26-11 win. It was the most runs scored by the Buckeyes in a non-conference game since a 38-15 win over Toledo on March 8, 2002. It was the most runs scored by the Buckeyes in any game since they plated 29 in a win over Penn State in 2005.
- Graveline led the Buckeyes with four hits in the final game of the series, tying his career-high. 11 total Buckeyes had at least one hit in the game. Chase Herrell picked up his first career win on the mound, striking out three and allowing two runs on four hits in 2.0 innings tossed.
- Henry Kaczmar, who is on a 17-game hitting streak, leads the Buckeyes at the plate with a .361 batting average. He leads Ohio State in hits with 26 and has also added 14 RBIs and seven runs scored.
- Mitchell Okuley and Tyler Pettorini lead the Buckeyes in RBIs with 18 each. Okuley is batting .353 with 24 hits, including a team-best seven doubles, and Pettorini is batting .282 with 20 hits.
- Graveline is also batting over .300, with a .333 batting average. He has 23 hits and is 6-for-7 in stolen bases.
- Mershon leads Ohio State in steals, going 8-for-9 so far this season.
- Beidelschies (2-3) leads the Buckeye pitching staff with 38 strikeouts in 27.1 innings pitched. He has an ERA of 3.82.
- Purcell (1-2) has fanned 11 in 20.1 innings tossed and has an ERA of 4.43.
- Bruni (2-0) has struck out 19 in 21.1 innings pitched and has an ERA of 4.64.
- Justin Eckhardt leads the pitching staff in saves with four. He has fanned six in 7.1 innings thrown and has an ERA of 2.45.
- The Hoyas enter this weekend's series with a 13-7 record. Georgetown is 5-5 on the road.
- First baseman Christian Ficca leads the Hoyas at the plate, batting .418. He leads the team in hits with 33 and in RBIs with 34. He has also hit a team-high six home runs.
- Infielder Josh Rolling has scored a team-best 26 runs. He is batting .375 and has added 24 hits and 15 RBIs.
- Infielder Michale Eze is 10-for-12 in stolen bases.
- Mastroianni (3-0) has an ERA of 3.97. He has struck out 20 in 22.2 innings pitched.
- Catlett (3-0) leads the pitching staff in strikeouts with 30 in 26.2 innings pitched. He has an ERA of 4.39.
- Williams (2-0) has fanned 15 in 19.0 innings and has a 2.37 ERA.
- Nick Davis (0-0) has recorded a team-high four saves.
- The Buckeyes host Kent State on Tuesday, March 26 at 6:00 p.m. and welcome Purdue to Bill Davis Stadium March 29-31 to open Big Ten play.
