COLUMBUS, Ohio -- No. 10 Ohio State (15-7, 8-4 MIVA) completes the Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association series against No. 12 Ball State (16-7, 9-1) Thursday at Worthen Arena in Muncie, Indiana.

Ohio State owns a 103-93 record over the No. 13 Ball State Cardinals. The Buckeyes are 57-39 at home in the series. Ohio State is 34-41 all-time in Muncie.
A year ago, Ohio State and Ball State battled for the MIVA Tournament title in Muncie, Indiana. The Buckeyes prevailed 3-1 to win the conference tournament crown.
Ohio State leads MIVA with a total of 150 aces on the year. It's average of 1.74 per set ranks second. In conference matches, the Buckeyes lead with 79 aces (1.80 per set).

Pasteur tied Hurley with seven aces against Lewis Feb. 29.
Hurley and Pasteur are the first Buckeyes to record seven aces in a match since Christian Franceschi against Ball State (4/8/11). The seven aces ties for third-most at Ohio State in a match.

Ohio State moved to the No. 1 spot in the weekly AVCA Coaches Poll Jan. 22. It was the first time in the top spot for the Buckeyes since Jan. 8, 2018. Ohio State started the season at No. 5 in the 2024 preseason.
As the top-ranked squad this year, Ohio State is 0-2 after a pair of losses to No. 9 Penn State (3-1, 3-2). The Buckeyes are No. 10 in the current AVCA poll (March 4).
