- The Ohio State women's lacrosse team will take on No. 3 Maryland at 1 p.m. Saturday in Ohio State Lacrosse Stadium.Â
- Admission and parking are free.
- There will be a fanny pack giveaway to the first 150 fans, a postgame meet and greet with a poster giveaway, and a Girl Scout troop at the stadium selling cookies.

- Ohio State enters the game 6-2 after a 22-17 win over Marquette Tuesday at home. Maryland is 6-1 and coming off an 11-8 win over James Madison Sunday.Â
- Ohio State and Maryland met twice last season in College Park. The Terps won in the regular season, 18-7, and in the Big Ten Tournament quarterfinals, 11-7.
- In the quarterfinal game, the Buckeyes were within two (8-6) entering the fourth quarter, but a Maryland three-goal run put the game out of reach. Regan Alexander had 11 saves in the Buckeye cage. Â
- The last meeting in Columbus was April 17, 2022, when Maryland won 14-8.
- The game Saturday opens Big Ten play for the Terrapins. The squad is 4-0 on the road, with wins over Saint Joseph's, Syracuse, Denver and William & Mary. Maryland is scoring 13.14 goals a game, allowing 7.43 to rank sixth nationally in scoring defense. Eloise Clevenger is third in the NCAA in assists per game (3.43) and goalie Emily Sterling is second in save percentage (.580) and fourth in goals-against average (7.50).Â

- The Buckeyes are coming off a 22-17 win over Marquette Tuesday afternoon. The 22 goals tied for the sixth-most in a single game in school history and were the most since scoring 22 vs. Detroit Mercy in 2016.
- Against the Golden Eagles, Ohio State took the lead at 9:12 of the first quarter and held the advantage the rest of the way. The Buckeyes scored seven goals in both the first and second quarters and led 14-7 at halftime. The Ohio State advantage was 19-13 after the third.
- The Buckeyes are undefeated at home (4-0), with wins over Robert Morris, Kent State, Butler and Marquette. The squad has three home games remaining - Saturday vs. Maryland, March 28 vs. Penn State and April 18 vs. Rutgers.
- Ohio State opened Big Ten play at No. 6 Michigan last week, falling 11-5.
- Ohio State is 14th nationally in clearing percentage (.922), with 141 clears in 153 chances. The Buckeyes are 20th in the NCAA in turnovers per game (13.00).Â
- The Buckeyes rank in the Top 25 nationally in scoring offense (21st/15.0 goals per game) and scoring defense (22nd/9.25 goals allowed per game).
- Senior goalie Regan Alexander, who had double-digit saves in each of the last four games, is ninth in the NCAA in save percentage (.530). She is fifth in school history with 374 career saves. Alexander had a career-best 16 saves at Denver earlier this year, stopped 14 shots vs. Marquette Tuesday and had 12 saves against both Butler and Michigan.
- Jamie Lasda leads the Buckeyes with 26 goals and 32 points, ranking in the Top 10 in the B1G in goals (3.23) and points (4.0) per game. She enters the game vs. Maryland on a 14-game scoring streak, with 37 goals, 18 assists and 55 points in the stretch. It is her career-long point streak, passing the two 13-game stretches she had earlier in her career.
- This season Lasda has multiple points in all but one game, including six multi-goal outings. In her 50-game Buckeye career, Lasda has 90 goals, 49 assists and 139 points.
- Brynn Ammerman leads the Buckeyes with 16 assists and is second with 30 points, tying for third with 14 goals. She has at least one point in each of the first seven games and had a career-high four goals last time out vs. Marquette. Ammerman is fourth in the B1G with 2.0 assists per game and eighth with 3.75 points a contest. She entered the season with a 5-4-9 line in 14 games played over her first two years.
- Lilli Sherman, who has started all eight games on defense, leads the Buckeyes with 10 caused turnovers, with multiple in three games. She is second on the team with 17 ground balls, picking up a career-best five at Akron. Sherman entered the season with five games played and two ground balls in her first two years.Â
- Leah Sax had four goals vs. Marquette, her first game with more than two tallies as a Buckeye, and matched her career high with two assists for a personal-best six points. She has a point in all but one game this season, with six multiple-goal outings and seven games with two or more points. The senior started the year with one goal and three games played in her first three seasons. She is second on the squad with 15 goals and third with 19 points.
- Emily Magalotti, a starter at midfield this season after playing defense in 2023, notched her first collegiate goal at Denver and then scored twice vs. Butler the following game. She extended her goal streak to four with goals against Michigan and Marquette.
- Annie Hargraves has at least one goal in seven of eight games this year, held scoreless only at Denver. She has eight goals in her last three games combined, with a personal-best four vs. Marquette. Her 14 goals this season are tied for third on the squad.Â
- Kampbell Stone leads the Buckeyes with 21 draw controls, followed by Hargraves with 20.
- Stone has at least one goal in seven of her first eight collegiate games, held scoreless only against Michigan. She picked up her first assist vs. Marquette and now has nine goals and 10 points on the year.Â
- Rookie Audrey Schoemer started the first eight games on defense and has six ground balls and four caused turnovers.Â
- Zoe Coleman has at least one point in seven of eight games this year, including her first career hat trick Tuesday vs. Marquette. She now has 10 goals and 18 points this season.
- Casey Roberts and Coleman are tied for second on the squad with eight assists each. Roberts has three two-assist games this season and has 13 points on the year, with five goals and eight assists. Â
- The Buckeyes will head to Baltimore for a Big Ten game vs. Johns Hopkins at 1 p.m. March 23.Â
- Ohio State will then return home for a 7 p.m. night game against Penn State March 28 in Ohio State Lacrosse Stadium. Admission and parking are free and the game will be televised by BTN.
