Buckeyes In a Nutshell
- The Buckeyes return their entire starting line of defensemen and three of their top five scorers from 2023.
- Among Ohio State's top returning players are Bobby Van Buren and Ed Shean. Van Buren was a second team All-Big Ten selection in 2023 and earned his second All-America award in as many years last year. Shean, a junior attacker, led the Buckeyes with a career-high 27 goals in 2023. He finished second on the team with 36 points and led the country with a .574 shot percentage.
- Captaining Ohio State in 2024 are graduate defender Jacob Snyder and senior midfielders Connor Cmiel and Trent DiCicco.

- Head coach Nick Myers begins his 16th season at the helm of the Scarlet & Gray this season and has a 125-98 career record. He is the first coach in program history to reach 100 career wins.
- Burke, Thomas Greenblatt and Van Buren were named preseason All-Americans by Inside Lacrosse and USA Lacrosse.
