CHICAGO, Ill.-- The Big Ten announced the schedule for the upcoming 2027 men's lacrosse season on Monday afternoon.
Ohio State men's lacrosse goes into the 2027 season as the two-time defending Big Ten Champions, winning 24 games in that time. The Buckeyes begin their defense of the Big Ten crown on March 27, playing host to Rutgers. Ohio State is also home against Maryland on April 10.

Historic Pace
The Buckeyes have totaled 24 wins during its back-to-back Big Ten Championship seasons in 2025 and 2026, marking the most wins in program history since 1965 and 1966 when the Buckeyes tallied a program-record 29 wins in back-to-back seasons.

Over the last two seasons, Ohio State men's lacrosse has accumulated the most wins in the conference as well as overall.
Lowest Goals Allowed Per Game Since 2017
Anchoring the 2027 defense, Ohio State returns All-Americans in defenders Bobby Van Buren and Kyle Foster as well as goalie Caleb Fyock.
Foster recorded 12 ground balls and 11 caused turnovers on the year. He tied for third on the team in caused turnovers and helped the Buckeyes hold opponents to single digit goals in 12 of 14 games played last season.
Fyock earned nine wins in 2026 and is second in the country with a 7.73 goals-against average in 2026. Fyock averaged 8.57 saves per game and finished the season with a Big Ten-best save percentage of .556. He was also a First Team All-American in 2025 while also being named USILA Ensign C. Markland Kelly Jr. Outstanding Goalie and Big Ten Specialist of the Year.
Van Buren was named a First Team All-American in 2025 in addition to being the William C. Schmeisser Co-Defensive Player of the Year, becoming the first player in the country to earn those honors.
