COLUMBUS, Ohio – No. 10 Ohio State women’s soccer opens the Big Ten Tournament with a first-round match against Wisconsin. The match will be held at the University of Minnesota with kick-off at 4:30 p.m. ET and streamed on B1G+.
The first two rounds of the tournament will be held at Minnesota with the semifinals and finals at CityPark Stadium in St. Louis.
- The Buckeyes finished in a tie for seventh in the Big Ten Standings and will be the No. 8 seed in the tournament.
- This is the 22nd Big Ten Tournament appearance for the Buckeyes, who have an all-time record of 13-16-5 with three titles in 2002, 2004 and 2012.
- Ohio State is 3-0 all-time against Wisconsin in the Big Ten Tournament, winning 2-0 in 1998 and then winning 2-1 in both 2002 and 2015.
- Overall, the Buckeyes lead the all-time series with the Badgers 13-11-8.
- The teams last met on Oct. 15, 2023, in Madison and the Buckeyes topped the 12th-ranked Badgers 1-0 behind a second-half goal from Kailyn Dudukovich. It was assisted by Amanda Schlueter. That combo has been pretty good this season as well.
- Ohio State capped the regular season in style on Sunday with a 4-1 win over No. 15 Penn State. The four goals were the most the Buckeyes have scored in 37 meetings with Penn State and were also tied for the most PSU has ever surrendered in a Big Ten match.
- Kailyn Dudukovich recorded her 41st career goal in the win over PSU and is now the program's all-time leader in goals scored, passing Tiffany Cameron who had 40 from 2009-12.
- Dudukovich is third in the country and second in the Big Ten with 16 goals this season. Her 33 points are also Top 10 nationally.
- The Buckeyes finished the regular season 11-4-3 overall and are ranked No. 10 in the latest coaches poll. They are also No. 13 in the current RPI.
- Amanda Schlueter had two assists in the win over Penn State and now leads the Big Ten with 10 assists on the season. That is also tied for fifth-most nationally and the second-most in a single-season in program history.
- Wisconsin won four out of its last five matches to earn the No. 9 seed in the Big Ten Tournament. The Badgers are 9-4-4 overall and are coming off a 1-0 win over Michigan on Sunday. Aryssa Mahrt leads the way with nine goals and 20 points.
