Amanda Schlueter Placed on MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Senior midfielder Amanda Schlueter has been named to the 2026 Hermann Trophy Watch List, the Intercollegiate Women's Soccer Organization for Coaches (IWSOC), in partnership with United Soccer Coaches, announced Wednesday.
The MAC Hermann Trophy, the most coveted individual honor in NCAA Division I soccer, has been awarded annually since 1967.
Schlueter has led the Buckeyes in assists throughout her career at Ohio State, with the third most in program history at 24. She has also scored 28 goals in her career, placing her in a tie for ninth in program history alongside Kayla Fischer. Her 80 career points have her tied with Lisa Collison for sixth in program history. Schlueter has earned All-Big Ten and United Soccer Coaches All-Region honors in both the 2024 and 2025 seasons.
Schlueter was a key factor in leading the team to the Elite Eight in the 2025 season, their first time advancing to that stage since 2010.
Kailyn Dudukovich was the last Buckeye woman to be considered for the award, finishing as a semifinalist in 2024.
The 2026 watch list was compiled by members of the Division I Women's All-America Council from a list of returning 2025 All-Americans and First Team All-Region players. A total of 15 players will be named 2026 Hermann Trophy semifinalists on December 4 at the conclusion of NCAA Division I All-American voting. From that list, head coaches will cast votes, and three players will be named finalists. The 2026 recipient will be announced January 8, 2027, in a ceremony at the historic Missouri Athletic Club in downtown St. Louis, Mo.
