
Nine Baseball Buckeyes Named to Academic All-Big Ten Team

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Nine Buckeye baseball student-athletes have been named to the Academic All-Big Ten Team, announced by the conference on Monday.
Earning Academic All-Big Ten honors for the fourth time are Nolan Clegg (Air Transportation) and Will Pfennig (Public Management). Caden Kaiser (Sport Industry) and Mitchell Okuley (Mechanical Engineering) are three-time honorees.
Kade Kern (Sport Industry) has made the Academic All-Big Ten Team for the second time and Drew Bachman (Exercise Science), Gavin Bruni (Sport Industry), Jacob Gehring (Psychology) and Josh McAlister (Sport Industry) are all first-time honorees.
To be eligible for the Academic All-Big Ten Team, student-athletes must be on the official squad list of a varsity team, be enrolled at their institution for a minimum of 12 months and maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
