
Buckeyes in Action at UT Home Invitational

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women's tennis team competed in the UT Home Invitational Knoxville, Tenn., over weekend. The event included the host Lady Vols, Princeton, Virginia and Kentucky, with teams facing off in both singles and doubles.  Â
Luciana Perry and Audrey Spencer led the Buckeyes with four combined wins each, with two each in singles and doubles. Teah Chavez had three victories, including two in singles.
Friday
Led by Shelly Bereznyak with two victories, the Buckeyes picked up a doubles win and three singles victories on the first day of the invite.Â

Irina Cantos Siemers, who reached the semifinals of the ITA Midwest Regionals, was selected for the singles draw and she and Luciana Perry, the regional runner-up, will compete in the doubles tournament.
