COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State is 12th in the 16-team field at the 2022 Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge after 18 holes were played Sunday at the Palos Verdes Golf Club in Palos Verdes Estates, California. Ohio State is the host school for the event, now in its 26th season.
The Buckeyes shot 298 behind Aneka Seumanutafa’s 1-over 72 on the par 71 course. She is tied for the No. 16 spot in the individual standings.
The elite field consists of 10 teams ranked among the Top 20 nationally. No. 46 Kent State is the leader after round one at 2-over 286.
Individually, Rachel Kuehn of Wake Forest leads at 4-under 67.
The 54-hole event continues with 18 holes Monday and will conclude with 18 holes Tuesday.
