Ohio State at the NCAA Regionals

Ohio State has now made 49 all-time NCAA postseason appearances, their first since 2017, and the sixth time in the last eight years.
The Buckeyes have advanced to the NCAA Championships 46 times, winning the National Championship twice in 1945 and 1979.
In 2017, Ohio State competed in the Stanford Regional in Stanford, California, finishing ninth after three rounds of play with Daniel Wetterich leading the way at even par (71-70-69) to tie for 12th.

The Course

TPC Myrtle Beach is a par 72, 6,950 yard course located on the “Grand Strand” of Myrtle Beach. The course snakes its way through dense mature trees, around numerous water hazards, and strategically placed bunkers to create an enjoyable and challenging experience suitable for the PGA Tour. The course is home to the Dustin Johnson Golf School, named for the PGA Tour star Dustin Johnson who is originally from the area. TPC Myrtle Beach has hosted the Senior PGA Tour Championship and been voted one of the top courses in the state of South Carolina on multiple occasions.

Buckeye Backdrop

The Buckeyes come off of a seventh place finish at the Big Ten Championship.
Caleb Ramirez led the way for Ohio State, sandwiching a second round 78 between two 71s to finish ten over and tie for 11th place, three spots better than his 2017 appearance.
Will Voetsch also turned in a strong finish, carding an 80 in the gusty second round to go along with two 71s to tie for 21st at 12-over par.
Will Grimmer’s tournament performance was highlighted by the fourth best score of the tournament, sinking five birdies against two bogeys to post a final round 67. Grimmer had trouble in the first two days, like the majority of the participants, turning in a 77 and 81 to finish with a share of 31st place at 15-over par.
